This is a really fun book. It reads like an old fashion radio announcer or something. Pictures are really interesting, “scenic”, and fun too!Language is clever and pictures give lots to comment on.

My 4-year-old smiles all the way through this one. They first read it in his preschool classroom, and it was such a hit his teachers suggested the parents may want to buy it for home. I'm so glad we did!

Cute book

This book is perfect for 3/4 year olds. My son loves it - the rhyme shceme is an important learning tool at this age.

Whenever I would pick my two year old up from daycare he would constantly talk about this "turkey" book. I asked his teacher about it and she said that they have to read this book everyday in class because the toddlers ask for it!! I finally decided to buy it, so my two year old and I could read it together.

I enjoy reading this to my kiddo - he just turned 3 and got it last Christmas. We're planning a vacation that will likely include Lake Champlain and Maine, so the book lines keep running through my head. haha! I've also used the line "gobble gobble tasty grain" to get my kid to eat grains.
