This book is packed with great information and links to prospective job leads.I read it in one day and was very impressed. We have been fulltimers for 3 years now and we have never had a problem establishing a workamping position.She covers tons of great items and the booked is packed with fantastic helpful information. I especially liked the info on how to use volunteer.gov and bid with Corps of Engs. as we have always worked in private campgrounds.I would say this book needs to be a regular in any RVers library if you are considering workamping. Well written and very informative!

Before reading this work, I had little awareness of the world of workanping. Mind you, I should have known more than most folks, since my brother and his wife were camp hosts in Oregon during summer, and ski resort restaurant managers in Winter.they did it for five years or so, having a ball making a good living and living in their RV.Anyway, I bought this book out of curiosity and learned a great deal more than I expected.THE WRITING: Fun, easy to read. Bear in mind, most of the book is more of a reference than it is a leisure read. Still, the presentation makes it more fun than most references.EDITING: An occasional typo or format snafu, but nothing that is seriously annoying. Insofar as formatting, the discontinuity could be avoided if letters or bullets were used instead of numbers.BOTTOM LINEFour stars out of five.I am striving to produce reviews that help you find books that you want, or avoid books that you wish to avoid. With your help, my improvement will help readers find books they enjoy reading.

My husband and I are 4 months into full time and this is going into our full time library on our rig! Ton’s of info and a great read to boot. Even if your just in the thinking stages or new like us or seasoned full timers, this will still be a great read! You won’t be sorry.

This book was a quick read and had some good information on how to find work on the road, while camping, or full time RV-ing. As a full time RV-er, we have had some of these work experiences and it was fun to read about others experiences and ideas. I have done lots of research, read many articles, blogs, etc on workamping and this one had some of the most original ideas I have seen so far. If you are new to workamping or a seasoned RV-er, this will appeal to you.

As a full-timer who has worked some of the jobs Sharee covers, I can attest to the accuracy and value of the information she shares in her book. I wish it was available 4 years ago when I started workamping lol! Sharee lets you know up front what is not covered in her book so your expectations will be on par with what she does share. This book provides the guidance curious folks need to get started in workamping and tons of additional resources that are even helpful to seasoned workampers. The materials Sharee shares via her VIP mailing list are perfect companions for this book, too. Nothing she does is redundant. She has mapped out a flexible plan with the checklists you need, too. I highly recommend this book to anyone considering the RVing work camping lifestyle!

Good, well organized book for anyone contemplating living in an RV and being a workamper. Lots of practical advice. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants tolive this lifestyle or even dream about it.
