I got the first book The Concealed last November for my kindle first choice. I loved it and have waited impatiently at times for the release of the sequel. And I wasn't dissapointed. I loved it. I loved visiting Avalon. Good triumphing over evil. I couldn't put it down till I read the last page.I love reading a book that makes me laugh, cry, angry, happy. All the emotions that makes a book so awesome and wonderful to read.I can't wait to see what she writes next and can't wait to read it.

The fantasy world Avalon comes to life in The Revealed but is a big change from the first book. In The Concealed, the fantasy is just that, held back and it mysteriously and slowly unfolds. The first book is set in a realistic world with hints of magic. The second book is mostly set in a magical land and it took a while for me to make the adjustment and like it. But I did like it. The fighting and the introduction of Morgana and her monsters and minions certainly made it interesting. However, It ended abruptly and I wish there was more. But things seems pretty resolved, it doesn’t seem there would be more.

I liked the first book in this series a lot more than this one. As others have commented, I found the characters to be a little one dimensional, and the end of the story was rushed. I found it odd that after almost 70% of the book had been written, the author decided to change character voices in order to better explain some of the back story. I feel confident that as the author continues to develop her writing skills, she will look back at this story and think of many things that she would have edited or written differently. I have certainly read books that are worse, and the book was still interesting enough that I wanted to find out what happened to the various characters.

This story is a bit out of my normal reading comfort zone, but it was fascinating from the get go, so of course, I had to see how it ended. There are plenty of twists andt turns and a great ending to keep you turning the page. Past and present are merged together along with the great legend of Arthur and Merlin. Just wait. You'll see. There's the standard fight between good and evil, interesting characters,and a rather fascinating premise.

Let me start by saying, I loved the first book. The picture it painted in my head kept me interested, mystery, murder, love and fantasy all rolled together. I’m not giving anything away when I say this story is about Merlin and other mystical characters such as The lady of the lake, King Arthur, and their descendants. This book is the conclusion of the story. I’m sorry but if I could cut out the bits that did not add anything to the story, the book would short and should have been added to the first book it would have been a home run at five stars.

So many times I didn't want to put this book down, but for whatever reason, I had to. Picking it back up was the ultimate goal!! From start to finish, this book kept me on the edge of my seat. I couldn't wait to see what would happen next. No spoilers here, but just know, these characters will have you rooting for them, crying for them and wanting some of them to just freakin disappear already! 😂 LOVED IT!!!

I was intrigued by the story in the first book so I struggled thru reading it even with the poor writing... I just couldn't read this one. The writing was terrible and incredibly adolescent. Seems like it was written by a 10th grader. Once you get used to reading books from incredible writers, your tolerance for poor writing goes down. I guess that is where I am at.

I really enjoyed the first book and couldn't wait for this one to come out. While this was good, I didn't feel like it reached the level of the first book. The story didn't flow as well... parts felt like they drag on too long then suddenly the ending felt rushed and abrubt.
